I am a Naturopathic Physician and have been in practice for over 20 years. From 2002 until January 2009 I practiced in upstate New York doing general naturopathic medicine and treating a variety of conditions including Autoimmune Diseases, Cardiovascular Disease, Gastrointestinal disorders, Women’s Health, Diabetes and Cancer – to name a few. Since 2009 my focus has been cancer care.

In 2009 I accepted a position at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, in Zion, IL. At CTCA, I worked along-side medical oncologists who provided conventional standard of care, while I supported the patients with naturopathic medicine. The most rewarding aspect of working at CTCA, was seeing patients who had been suffering significant side effects from the conventional treatments, start to feel so much better when incorporating naturopathic support. Many patients credited my care and the use of natural medicine to their improved quality of life and better outcomes.

In 2013, I became a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO). There are only 150 naturopathic physicians board certified in naturopathic oncology in the US and Canada. Those who earn this designation, have extensive experience and post-graduate education in naturopathic medicine specific to cancer treatment. The certification requires me to maintain my scholarly pursuits and education to stay current in this fast-changing area of medicine.

Back to the Pacific Northwest!  In August 2017 my family and I moved back to Portland, OR. My wife and I love the Pacific Northwest and are excited to raise our daughter in this beautiful part of the country. When I’m not in the clinic I am likely to be out in nature with my daughter cycling, hiking or fly fishing!
